Featuring picnicking nooks interspersed with awe-inspiring woodlands, Fish Creek Park is a great place to spot a variety of wildlife, including deer, owls and coyotes. Beaver dams in the area's natural ponds provide children with an opportunity to see some amazing handiwork. A 50 mile network of trails invites equestrians, hikers and cyclists to go exploring.

Community Associations
Evergreen Estates encompasses the established neighborhoods built in the 1990s. The Shawnee/Evergreen Community Association (SECA) oversees the nearby Shawnee Slopes neighborhood and Evergreen Estates sections of the community. The Calgary Evergreen Community Association (CECA) is the representative body for the newer neighborhoods of Evergreen.
Both Community Associations in Evergreen are composed of volunteer residents who attend to issues of interest in their communities. They work to keep their neighborhoods safe and pleasant and make sure everyone knows about upcoming community meetings and events.
Schools
Evergreen Elementary is a public school for grades K through 4 that first opened its doors for the 2010 school year. Serving 550 Evergreen students, the school is among the newest additions to Calgary's well-respected education system. Older students attend nearby middle schools and high schools.
It is easy to see why Evergreen is one of the most sought-out communities in the city. Quiet landscapes, the proximity of dozens of recreational opportunities and the comfort of a close-knit community provide a perfect residential experience for the entire family.
